If you love matcha or you’re curious what the fuss is about, How Matcha is an essential stop. From traditional ceremonial blends to experimental flavours, the range is bold, balanced, and beautifully crafted. The Spanish Blossom iced matcha was a personal highlight — sweet, floral, and dangerously sippable without tipping into gimmick territory. The vibe is modern zen with plenty of heart, and the staff know their stuff. It can get busy and seating is limited, but the atmosphere and quality more than make up for it. Easily one of the best matcha spots in London — a little haven for matcha fiends and curious caffeine hunters alike. Already plotting my next visit. And the one after that. And the one after that. Authenticity. Charm. Outstanding matcha. And a menu that somehow gets me. How Matcha isn’t just a vibe — it’s a lifestyle, and honestly, I’m ready to sign up for the membership

I’ve never been a fan of matcha—until now. I decided to give this place a try, and WOW. Their matcha completely changed my mind. Forget the ‘tastes like grass’ stereotype—this was smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious. I tried the Supernova and the White Chocolate Matcha, and both were a solid 10/10. I’m genuinely obsessed and already planning my next visit. If you're even a little matcha-skeptical like I was, this place will convert you!

Vibey, delicious, aesthetic. There's almost always a line but that's ok because the matcha is delicious and it comes in all forms -- classic latte form, tonics, baked goods and more. A bit of a wait for a latte because they mix it by hand, but very satisfying overall.

One the best places in London, I won’t call it a Matcha store, its not just that, its a home to so many people in the Marylebone community. If you’re looking for a great Matcha, a great Coffee, a great place to chill, make friends, and be part of a community, this is your place to be! The owner is extremely creative, everyday there is something new, from pop ups, to community dinners, to collaborations, to new menu item, and all the way to 1 meter incense stick in a beautiful bonsai tree outside the store! Highly highly recommend How Matcha and be on the lookout for more from this owner!

Amazing matcha bar in Marylebone, with authentic flavours as well as classic matcha lattes. The menu also includes a variety of no-matcha drinks / no-caffeine drinks and that’s super sweet for when you just need a hot drink but not necessarily a caffeinated one. Recommending the Spanish Blossom matcha with oat milk for a great unique flavour

A Hidden Gem — Amazing Service and Cozy Atmosphere I was really surprised by this place — visited for the first time and didn’t expect such a warm and cozy vibe. The atmosphere is fantastic and feels like a true hidden gem. Special thanks to Angelina, a lovely girl from Ukraine, who provided outstanding service — friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome. We also unexpectedly ran into an old friend there, which made the evening even more memorable. The matcha was great, and the dessert made from small pastry balls was something new and really tasty. I was also blown away by the cinnamon pastry — fresh, warm, and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be back!
